Power Rankings are updated weekly by the VHEL competition staff. All titles except Fortnite Duos are ranked by a panel using win/loss, match performance, and strength of schedule. Fortnite Duos rankings use the official Fortnite Points System (TBD) calculated from cumulative placement and eliminations. Every match played — whether in the league, a qualifier, or the Winter Series — affects your standing.

Each game sends a different players to the championship stage for ESC Nationals ’26. Here are the total amount of qualifiers for each title represented:

  • Valorant: 8 teams
  • Rocket League: 8 teams
  • Overwatch 2: 8 teams
  • Marvel Rivals: 8 teams
  • Minecraft Bedwars: 16 teams
  • Fortnite Duos: 48 teams

FREQUENTLY ASKED QUESTIONS

How often are updates posted?

Power Rankings are updated every weekend, typically on Sunday evenings after all matches and qualifier events conclude. Updates include movement across every title based on recent results, staff evaluations, and event outcomes.

Yes. All ESC Qualifier tournaments and the Winter Series directly affect Power Rankings. Any official competition under the VHEL umbrella — league match, qualifier, or series — contributes to a team’s position.

That win counts in a big way. Our ranking panel considers strength of schedule, meaning victories over higher-ranked opponents have greater impact. Even lower-division teams can rise quickly with consistent wins against stronger competition, especially by engaging in Winter Series and ESC Qualifier Series events.

We detail more about the system on the Fortnite Qualification System page.
